G. Dime
One of my joys as an artist is having people around me who are a great inspiration. G. Dime is one of those people. From producing to every day living, Mr. Gerron Diamond is an all around organic and genuine person. Take time out to peep this interview I did with him...
SLOW DAY! SNOW DAY!
Yesterday, we had a lot of snow fall in Kansas City... That is messed up... I just thought I'd share my frustration.

Lil Weezy Goes Rock
YES! It's actually dope. I think that it's above my expectation. I will be checking out "The Rebirth" when it drops. Kudos to Young Money!
Let The Right One In

Okay. This movie was downright creepy... in a good way. I liked it overall. It was goary, modern, and very original. The characters in this movie are easy to adapt to while watching and you don't find yourself waiting for them to leave the frame. There's little action in it and not alot of plot but it's a good boredome-killer. Google search: "Let The Right One In" and watch!!!

Tech N9ne - Sickology 101

Yes folks... Kansas City's own, Tech N9ne will be dropping another collabos album. This one is entitled Tech N9ne - Sickology 101. It features grade A tracks from various producers and features from not only Kansas City natives, but national hip hop treasures. It isn't clear yet who all will be featured on the album but it is clear that it will be one for the ages. This album drops on April 28th and is sure to be a treat. For all of you who are frequent readers of The Phonebooth and are fans of me, Craig Smith, there will be a special surprise on the album for you. Check out more Tech N9ne at Tech N9ne's Myspace Page
Memphis Tigers ROCK
I don't usually do this but, I'm with the Tigers this year. While watching the Memphis vs. Tulsa game yesterday, I realized that this is what I'd been wanting to watch in sports. A titan team who's players are all equally extraordinary. Robert Dozier amazed me with amazing and so did the rest of the team. Much luck to them in the tournament.
DOPE!!! ROCK REPEATS KANYE!!!
The Fray covers Kanye's "Heartless"
To alot of people, this means nothing. I have a different take on it. I like it. It shows that someone who stretches out with their music will be respected. More power to them!

The LOOOOONG Watchmen Review
For those of you who haven't seen it. For those of you who are skeptics... I say... Hmmm... WATCH THE DARN MOVIE! Though, you may not be a comic book fan or even a fan of super heroes, there are alot of elements of this movie that are more than "save the day" topics. With murder after murder and paternity scandals, who can resist? Watchmen, in my opinion is one movie that deserves a purchase.
Plus 5:
1. Action (Not alot of it but the action that you see is worth it.
2. Music (I was entertained... Marcy and I could have listened to the music alone)
3. Characters (They're dope...)
4. Originality (This is no Spiderman movie)
5. The View (The camera work and quality are AMAZIN!)
Negative 5:
1. Length (TOO DAMN LONG)
2. Unbelievable (In some ways, the movie is confusing and you forget it's fantasy... until something wierd happens)
3. NO BLACK PEOPLE!!! (It's my own personal "WTF")
4. No big names (Bittersweet)
5. More action
